Terms of Service
Last updated September 11, 2026
These terms cover your use of ChoBo, a household chore-tracking app at getchobo.com. By using ChoBo, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
The service
ChoBo lets a household track chores, points, and rewards. There's a free plan and two paid plans (Household, billed monthly, and Lifetime, a one-time payment) that add multi-device sync and extended analytics history. We may change or discontinue features over time; if we ever discontinue the service entirely, we'll try to give reasonable notice.
No accounts, your data, your device
ChoBo doesn't use user accounts. Your household's data is stored in your browser and, on paid plans, synced directly between your own devices. You're responsible for your own device's security and for whatever you choose to store in the app.
Payments and cancellation
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. The Household plan renews monthly until cancelled; you can cancel anytime from Settings, which opens Stripe's billing portal, and you'll keep access through the end of the period you already paid for. The Lifetime plan is a single one-time payment with no recurring charge.
If ChoBo isn't right for you, contact us within 14 days of your purchase (or of your most recent renewal charge) at hello@getchobo.com and we'll refund it, no questions asked.
Acceptable use
Use ChoBo for its intended purpose — tracking chores for your own household. Don't try to abuse, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service, or use it in a way that violates applicable law.
No warranty
ChoBo is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data stored locally or synced peer-to-peer will never be lost — back up anything you can't afford to lose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChoBo isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
